Intro to Twin Cities Orthopedics’ Breast Health Program

The presentation will cover reasons why to seek therapy; lymphedema and how it should be treated proactively; and managing shoulder dysfunction symptoms. A Q&A session will follow.

Ingrid Weddig, COTA, CLT

Ingrid has been working in occupational/hand therapy since 2000. In 2010, she started a scar management/ breast cancer rehabilitation program. The program is now a part of TCO and titled, Breast Health. She is compassionate about working with breast Cancer patients at any point of their recovery. It involves assisting breast cancer patients with proper pre surgical lymphedema education and post op care.

Renata Braudy, PT, PhD

Renata is passionate about working with breast cancer survivors and has lectured, both locally and nationally, on this topic. She uses her personal experience with an illness to fuel her passion as an advocate for breast cancer survivors to be heard, validated, and have access to the rehabilitation they need to minimize pain, improve function, and return to their regular activities and fitness feeling the best that they can.
